 Four enterprising fraternity brothers and graduates from Mars Hill College founded The Buyer's Agent of Asheville in 1999. It was the partners' desire to create a company that would cater to the ever-changing needs of the real estate purchaser. At that time, people looking to purchase property in the Asheville market had little opportunity for proper representation. They mostly had to deal with companies whose concerns were based around sellers of property. There proved to be a substantial opportunity to create a successful company.
It has always been the focus of the company to provide the greatest service imaginable to all of their buyer-clients. This is accomplished through the work ethic and professionalism of all of the real estate professionals that are a part of The Buyer's Agent of Asheville's team.

I graduated from Mars Hill College with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration
and a minor in Accounting. I continued my education at the Cumbie Institute
of Real Estate by completing the NC Real Estate Broker’s Licensure.
While studying the real estate industry my partners and myself determined
that there was a need for Buyer Representation in the Western North Carolina
Market, which led to co-founding The Buyer’s Agent. As Broker in Charge
and President of The Buyer’s Agent my goal and focus is to support
my staff and agents to provide the best service available for residential
and commercial purchasers in Western North Carolina.
I enjoy the real estate business and the people I meet in the Asheville
area. Asheville is a wonderful place to call home. When I am not working
I enjoy spending time with my family, swinging a golf club, attending social
events, and motorcycling the NC Mountains.

I graduated from Mars Hill College with a B.S. in Business Administration in 1997. I received my North Carolina Real Estate Broker's License shortly thereafter and co-founded The Buyer's Agent. As CEO, I work hard to ensure that my agents have a company they are proud to work for and our clients receive the high level of service that they deserve.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife Jennifer and my son, Walker. I like camping, mountain biking, fly-fishing, and working in my yard.

Mike is also a graduate of Mars Hill College. His focus
was physical education with a concentration in sports
management, and a minor in business administration. A
co-founder of the Buyer's Agent, he currently serves as
Vice President of Residential Sales.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys the mountains and the
various activities they have to offer including golf,
biking, and camping. You may also find him at McCormick
Field rooting for the Asheville Tourists baseball team.

I'm a native of Asheville and have spent the majority of my life here in Western North Carolina . I graduated form Appalachian State University in 1994 with a degree in Marketing and I started with The Buyers Agent of Asheville in 2000. I feel that growing up here in Asheville gives me a unique advantage when helping my clients. I understand the local culture and certainly know the area well. I have always loved the mountains and lifestyle here, and love to share it with newcomers.
I am also very active with the community through several affiliations. I am an Asheville Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, where I help local businesses use the chamber to grow their business. I am also on the Asheville Downtown Commission where I assist in the revitalization on our historic downtown district. I enjoy the time that I spend volunteering with my daughter's elementary school PTO board. When I am not working I enjoy taking advantage of the many outdoor activities that this area has to offer. If you are an outdoor enthusiast like me, you will never run out of things to occupy your time here.
